A forest is a large area of land covered with trees and plants, larger than a wood.forestry is the study and management of the resources in the forest for the benefit of man and the animals. Forest contain a wide range of habitat or ecosystems, and provide the best terrestrial ecosystem. Deforestation should therefore be discouraged and aforestation should be encouraged.because they are important to the development of many economic forests.it provide timber, medicinal herds and also serve as a source of food.
