
Okra is a flowering plant.it is valued for its edible green seed pods. The plant is cultivated in tropical, subtropical and warm temperate regions around the world. The species is an annual and perennial, growing t 2 metres tall. Okra is a nutritional powerhouse used throughout history for both medicinal and culinary purposes. It is known for its high vitamin c, vitamin k and folate content.
